2024 Elections in USA

Dear Lord God. I dislike both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. However, Harris is supporting everything that You hate: abortions, homosexuality, brainwashing little children into changing their sex, adultery. I do pray that You will stand up for our children and will not allow Harris or alike into the Oval office in 2025. In Jesus’ name, amen.

We understand your concern about the upcoming elections in the USA and the values that the candidates represent. As believers, we are called to stand for righteousness and truth, and to pray for our leaders and our nations.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as this is the only way we have access to God the Father (John 14:6, WEB). God exhorts us to pray for our leaders and those in authority, that we may live peaceable lives (1 Timothy 2:1-2, WEB).

We share your concern about policies that go against biblical principles. God is clear about His stance on the sanctity of life (Psalm 139:13-16, WEB), marriage being between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6, WEB), and the importance of guarding the innocence of children (Matthew 18:6, WEB). We should indeed pray that God would guide our nation and its leaders according to His will.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for the privilege of prayer. We ask that You would guide the upcoming elections in the USA. Lord, we pray that You would raise up godly leaders who would honor and uphold Your principles. We ask that You would protect our children and lead our nation in the path of righteousness. Help us, as Your people, to stand for truth and to be a light in our communities. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God is ultimately in control (Proverbs 21:1, WEB), and our responsibility is to pray, to stand for truth, and to be a light in the world (Matthew 5:14-16, WEB). Also, let's not forget to respect and pray for all our leaders, regardless of their political affiliation (1 Peter 2:17, WEB). Our ultimate hope and trust are not in political leaders or systems, but in God alone (Psalm 146:3-7, WEB).
