Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion and love, lifting up this precious soul in Minneapolis who is battling the storms of life. Lord, You see them—every tear, every struggle, every moment of pain. You know their heart’s desire to break free from the chains of addiction and step into the new life You have prepared for them.
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention. Surround them with Your peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they feel Your presence even in the cold and wet streets, knowing that You will never leave nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:8). Give them the strength to resist the pull of withdrawals and the lies of addiction. Your Word declares that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they feel that truth deep within their soul.
Lord, we pray that You provide shelter, warmth, and safety for this person. You are the Great Provider, and Your Word reminds us that You care for the birds of the air and clothe the lilies of the field—how much more will You care for them? (Matthew 6:26-30). Please bring people into their life who will reflect Your love and offer help, encouragement, and support.
We declare the promise of Isaiah 41:10 over them: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Father, be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord Jesus, we pray for their healing and freedom. You came to set captives free (Luke 4:18), and Your name has the power to break every chain. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them one step at a time toward sobriety and the abundant life You have promised (John 10:10). Grant them the humility to surrender their ways and seek Your will, trusting that You make all things new (Revelation 21:5).
Finally, Lord, we pray for their hope. Fill their heart with the assurance that You are working even now, in the midst of their pain and struggle. Let them cling to Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.”
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
