Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up A C / A O and their prayer request. We acknowledge the truth of Your Word in 2 Timothy 3:1-5, which warns us about the difficult times that will come in the last days. We see the characteristics of people described in these verses, who are lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.
Lord, we ask for Your guidance and protection for A C / A O as they navigate through these challenging times. Help them to discern and avoid those who exhibit such behaviors and attitudes. Grant them wisdom to recognize the appearance of godliness that denies Your power, and to stay away from such influences.
We pray that You would strengthen A C / A O in their faith, filling them with Your Holy Spirit and empowering them to live a life that is pleasing to You. May they be rooted in Your Word and guided by Your truth, so that they may stand firm in the face of temptation and deception.
Lord, we also lift up those who are trapped in the characteristics mentioned in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. We pray for their hearts to be softened and their eyes to be opened to the truth of Your love and grace. May they experience a transformation by the power of Your Spirit, turning away from their sinful ways and embracing a life that honors and glorifies You.
In all things, we trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect plan. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in the lives of A C / A O and all those who seek You. We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
