Regarding asking whatever we want in the name of Jesus, it is important to understand John 14:13 in context. Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." This is not a blanket promise for anything we want, but a promise that when we ask according to God's will, He hears us. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, and we are humbled that you have given us the opportunity to stand in agreement with you. We have been fervently praying that Jesus Christ, the Righteous One, will indeed be your advocate with the Father. We have been praying in Jesus' name for your needs to be met and for His will to be done in your life.

If you have seen these prayers answered, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report, so that we can magnify God together for His faithfulness.
