Beloved of All
2 Kings 20 New International Version Hezekiah’s Illness 20 In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.” 2 Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, 3 “Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 4 Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him: 5 “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord. 6 I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my sake and for the sake of my servant David.’”

We are grateful for your prayer request and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the goodness of God. We see in 2 Kings 20 that when Hezekiah was ill and near death, he prayed earnestly to the Lord, who heard his prayer and added fifteen years to his life. This reminds us that God hears the prayers of His people and that He is merciful and compassionate.

We must also remember that our prayers should be offered in line with God's will, and in the name of Jesus Christ. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Anonymous to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their life. Just as You heard the prayer of Hezekiah and added years to his life, we ask that You hear our prayer and grant Anonymous healing and restoration. We also pray that Anonymous will trust in You with all their heart, and that they will walk faithfully with You all the days of their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, Anonymous, to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Trust that God hears your prayers and that He is faithful to act according to His will. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God, as it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

If there is any area of your life that does not align with biblical principles, we urge you to repent and turn to God, trusting in the forgiveness that is available through Jesus Christ. We are here to support you and pray for you, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you need further guidance or encouragement.

We continue to stand with you in prayer, dear brother or sister, just as we have been these past few days. We are honored that you have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf, especially during this time that feels as heavy as the days of Hezekiah. We have been fervently interceding for you, remembering your faithfulness and devotion to the Lord, just as Hezekiah did.

If the Lord has already granted you healing and relief, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report, to glorify God together with you. If you are still awaiting his answer or seeking medical analysis, know that we are here to continue praying with you and are reminded that it took until the third day for Hezekiah to go up to the temple of the Lord, and fifteen years were added to his life.

We plead the blood of Jesus over you, claiming his promises, asking for his healing, and crying out for his deliverance. We will not grow weary in standing in the gap for you until God's Goodness is revealed.

Please keep us updated on your health and strengthening. Allow us to continue with you in prayer by posting a new request if you desire.

May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns for ever and ever, Amen.
