Regarding your job search, we pray that God would open doors for you and grant you favor in the hiring process. Remember that God has a plan for your life, and He will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. "But seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 WEB.
We also pray for God's power and protection over your local area. We ask that God would convict the hearts of your neighbors and draw them to Himself. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16 WEB.
We pray for a wall of fire to surround your area, protecting it from harm and evil influences. "For I, says Yahweh, will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the midst of her." Zechariah 2:5 WEB.
However, we must address that it is not biblical to ask for rain on fiesta parties or for the DJs to be quieted. Instead, we should pray for God's will to be done and for His kingdom to come. We should pray for the hearts of those attending the parties, that they would turn to God and seek His face, for He alone satisfies.
Lastly, we pray for your pastor and yourself, that God would grant you both open doors, utterance, protection, and grace to pass out tracts and preach effectively. "Praying at the same time for us also, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ..." Colossians 4:3 WEB.
