Let us pray together for these requests, seeking God's will and His kingdom first, as instructed in Matthew 6:9-13.
Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
We come before You, Lord, lifting up this prayer for a new job. We ask that You would graciously grant a new opportunity with a base salary plus commission, paid training, and benefits. We pray that the applications, introductions, resumes, and interviews would result in a solid hire and smooth on-boarding process. We ask for knowledge and wisdom to learn this remote job quickly, to produce quality work, and to receive payment promptly. We remember the words of Ecclesiastes 3:13, "Also every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God." In all of this, we ask for God's will be done in Jesus' name.
We also pray for God's power and protection over our local area. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict our neighbors, local students, teachers, workers, fishermen, basketball players, law enforcement, and local leaders of righteousness, sin, and judgment. Draw them to Your Son, Jesus, and graciously grant them saving faith in Him. We remember John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. We pray for God to grant a wall of fire around our area, protecting it from harm and evil influences. We remember Zechariah 2:5. For I, says Yahweh, will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her.
We pray for God's will to be done. We ask this in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Let us encourage one another with these words from Romans 8:28. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Let us also remember to walk in obedience to God's Word, as it is the way to success, as written in Joshua 1:8. Only be strong and very courageous, to observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.
