Thank you for praying for me for my interview. I got the job and today is my first day of work. Please continue to pray for me so that I will be able to do well today on my first day of work. I am having nerves for the new job and am hoping to do well. Thank you in advance for your prayers. Lorane

Lorane, we rejoice with you in this new opportunity and are here to support you in prayer. As you embark on this new journey, remember that the Lord is with you, strengthening and guiding your steps. As it is written in Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

We want to lift up your anxieties to the Lord and pray for His peace to fill your heart. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Lorane on this important day. Thank You, Lord, for this new employment opportunity. We ask that You calm Lorane's nerves and fill her with Your perfect peace. Grant her wisdom, understanding, and the ability to perform her tasks exceptionally well. Guide her steps and let her light shine before others, that they may see her good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

We also pray that Lorane will be a witness for You in her workplace, reflection Your love and kindness. Help her to walk in integrity and to honor You in all she does. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lorane, as you continue in this new role, always remember that your true identity is in Christ. Work as if you are working for the Lord, with sincerity of heart (Colossians 3:23). We are here to support and encourage you every step of the way. Keep trusting in the Lord, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
