Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your grace and presence during our extended family function. As we gather together, we ask for the fruit of the Holy Spirit to be evident in our lives, as described in Galatians 5:22-23: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
Lord, we have been camping out for 19 days, and we ask for Your grace to pray and read the Bible diligently, as Matthew 6:33 reminds us to "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness." Open doors for the gospel to be shared among us, as Ephesians 6:19 says, "that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel."
We pray that You open the eyes and ears of our family members, as Proverbs 20:12 states, "The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both." Draw their hearts to You, as Psalm 110:3 and Jeremiah 31:3 declare Your lovingkindness and everlasting love. We ask that You draw them with cords of love, as Hosea 11:4 says, and that no one can come to You unless You draw them, as stated in John 6:44.
Lord, we pray for the fullness of the Holy Spirit to be upon us, as John 20:21-22 and Acts 19:5-6 describe. Fill us with Your Spirit, as Ephesians 5:18-19 commands, so that we may be bold witnesses for You. Most of our family members are not saved and are young in their faith. We ask for Your kindness and love to appear to them, as Titus 3:4-5 says, "But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit."
Pour out Your Spirit abundantly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. We trust in Your mercy and grace to transform hearts and lives during this time together.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
