It’s 18 hours until Maeve’s arrival in Canada, and honestly, I’m terrified. I’m scared about spending time with her, terrified of being rejected, and even a little afraid of what happens if she accepts me. To give you a bit of context, I’m 20 years old, I have a driver’s license but no car, and my parents are going up north while I’m staying behind. I really need to convince one of them to let me borrow a car, as it would make spending time with Maeve and Chloe much easier. Originally, my parents were planning to take both vehicles, but now that my grandmother is quarantined in her nursing home due to an outbreak of a gastrointestinal disease, they don’t really need both cars for their trip anymore. Having a car would allow me to chauffeur Maeve and Chloe around safely and comfortably. Chloe doesn’t drive, and Maeve tends to avoid driving whenever she can—especially in a Canadian winter. A vehicle would make a big difference in helping me spend time with them, and it would go a long way in creating opportunities for reconciliation. Please pray: • That I can successfully convince my parents to let me borrow one of the cars while they are away. • For Maeve’s safe arrival in Canada and for her to be prepared emotionally and spiritually for whatever happens during her visit. • That I will have the courage and wisdom to navigate these next few days in a way that honors God and reflects His love. • For God to bless the time I spend with Maeve and Chloe, allowing opportunities for reconciliation, growth, and healing. • For my Nana and everyone at her nursing home who is affected by the gastrointestinal outbreak. Pray for healing, protection, and strength for all the elderly residents and the staff caring for them. • Most importantly, pray that this situation leads both Maeve and me closer to Christ, and that if it is His will, it results in a relationship built on faith and love. I pray for all these things in Jesus’s name, and I thank you for your continued support and prayers.

Firstly, let's seek God's Word for guidance. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB).

We are thankful that you have submitted your request "In Jesus' Name". We can only approach God the father in Jesus' Name, the name which is above all names. As it says, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace," Eph 1:7 (WEB).

First we must address the fact you are courting two women. This is unacceptable and immoral. "Let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." Hebrews 13:4 (WEB).

You should have only one person at a time in a biblical courtship where the goal is marriage to a Christian woman. If you do not know who you have interest for, then you should cease contact with both until you become prayed up and understand your heart and what it desires. The Bible is not silent on these issues, and a lack of a particular verse saying it is wrong does not mean it is right. "Since you put away your old self with its evil practices," Col 3:9 (WEB). Sexual immorality also goes to a wrong thought life and words shared with each other.

Now we will address your fear. "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 (WEB).

God understands your feelings, but He does not want us to be afraid. Instead, He desires that we trust in Him, knowing that His perfect love casts out all fear. Pray that God will give you the strength and courage to face this situation, and trust that He is in control.

Instead of focusing on convincing your parents, pray that God will soften their hearts and open the doors for you. His ways are higher than ours, so it is essential to discern His will for this time. He can either provide your parents with a car that they will agree to lend or he can even have a way for you to have access to transportation they approve of. "Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work," Titus 3:1 (WEB).

Regarding Maeve's visit, we pray for God's guidance and for her spiritual and emotional preparation. Remember we are called to honor our parents and refrain from manipulative behavior. . Be courageous and wise, seeking God's will in all your interactions. "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." Philippians 4:8 (WEB).

Pray for opportunities for open dialogue, healing, reconciliation, and growth. And remember that Jesus Christ is the healer, and if He wills, He can make us one. "Since there is one loaf, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf." 1 Corinthians 10:17 (WEB).

Pray for your Nana and all those affected by the outbreak. Trust in God's healing power and His protection over them.

Finally, remember it is God's will to lead you both closer to Christ and be willing to let the relationship go or pursue a new one if it's not centered around Christ.

Let us pray:

Lord Jesus we come before You, lifting up Paroxyromai and their situations. We trust You to soften their parents hearts so they can reach a mutual understanding. We pray that You lead Maeve safely to Canada and guide and comfort her. We pray You guide both of them to You and a have a relationship that is god-honoring and seeking marriage. Jesus Christ we thank you for all these things. We ask all these things in Jesus Name. Amen.

Hey there,

Just wanted to chime in and say we're right there with you, every step of the way. First off, let's just take a deep breath, shall we? It's okay to feel scared, but remember, God's got this. He's got you, and He's got Maeve.

We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that we're here for you, just like the verse in Romans 12:15 says, "Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep." So, we're weeping with you right now, feeling your fear, but also feeling your hope.

Now, about the car situation, let's trust God to work it out. Maybe your parents will change their minds, or maybe God will open up another way for you to have transportation. Either way, we know that God's got a plan, and it's a good one (Jeremiah 29:11).

And Maeve? We're praying for her too. We're asking God to prepare her heart and mind for whatever happens during her visit. We're praying for safety, for open hearts, and for God's will to be done.

Let's also not forget your Nana and everyone at her nursing home. We're lifting them up in prayer too, asking for healing, protection, and strength.

Lastly, we're praying for you and Maeve, that this situation would bring you both closer to Christ. We're asking God to help you both trust Him more, and to guide you in His love and wisdom.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and know that we're right there with you. You're not alone in this. Let's keep praying in Jesus' name, amen?

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear friend, as you navigate this significant time with Maeve. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand with you in prayer, and we hope that you have felt our support over these past few days.

As Maeve's arrival in Canada has now come and gone, we would be blessed to hear how the Lord has answered our collective prayers. If God granted your request and provided a vehicle for you to use, or if He has begun to mend the relationship between you and Maeve, please share your praise report with us all. We would be delighted to celebrate God's faithfulness together.

If, however, it seems that your prayers have not been answered as you had hoped, we want to remind you that we are still here to support you. Perhaps God is working in a different way or timing, or perhaps there are other lessons He desires for you to learn through this experience. Whatever the case may be, we encourage you to not lose heart and to continue seeking Him.

If you still need a car to borrow, or if you have new or additional prayer requests, please feel free to share them with us again. It would be an honor to continue praying with you and for you.

We pray that God grants you wisdom, courage, and discernment as you spend time with Maeve and Chloe. May He bless your time together, and may He draw each of you closer to Himself and to one another, if that is His will.

We pray all these things in Jesus Name.
