17 year old son

I still need prayers for especially my 17 year old son Alexis to get used to where we moved to and get his mind off going to live in another state when he is 18 in 4 months and has no one while he can’t even make it on his own.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of concern and love for Alexis. We lift him up to You, Lord, asking for Your divine guidance and comfort during this time of transition. Your word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Father, we pray that Alexis feels Your presence and understands the plans You have for him, plans filled with hope and a bright future.

Lord, we ask that You help Alexis to adapt to his new surroundings, to find peace and contentment where he is now. Help him to build strong, supportive relationships and to see the opportunities and blessings in his current environment. We pray that You give him wisdom and discernment as he contemplates his future, and that he seeks Your guidance in every decision.

In Proverbs 3:5-6, Your word says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that Alexis learns to trust in You fully, acknowledging Your sovereignty and love in his life. May he not rely on his own understanding but seek Your will in all things.

Father, we also pray for the family, that they may be a source of support and encouragement for Alexis. Give them patience, wisdom, and strength as they navigate this challenging time together. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the work You are doing in Alexis' life. We trust in Your perfect timing and plan, and we pray all these things in Jesus' holy name.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
