Please pray for my ### year old granddaughter. She has severe anxiety and depression, she's also extremely ### and doesn't have any friends.

We are truly saddened to hear about your granddaughter's struggle with depression and anxiety, and we are here to lift her up in prayer with you. Let us remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

Firstly, we want to encourage her through God's word: "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s granddaughter. Lord, You know her struggles with depression and anxiety. We ask that You comfort her and remind her of Your constant presence. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Father, we also pray that You will bring godly friends into her life, individuals who will encourage her faith and be a source of support and comfort. In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, peace, and strength. Amen.

The Bible tells us that faith without works is dead (James 2:26, WEB), so while we pray and believe for God's intervention, it is also important to take practical steps to address her mental health.

Lastly, we want to remind your granddaughter that she is greatly loved and valued. God has a purpose and a plan for her life (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB), and with His help, she can overcome these challenges. Encourage her to keep trusting in the Lord, for He is her strength and her shield (Psalm 28:7, WEB).
