We are thrilled to join you in prayer, Christina, as you carry new life within you. It is so important that you are praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me.'"
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, just as Christina has prayed. We plead the blood of Jesus over Christina and the baby growing within her womb. We pray that this child will be healthy and strong, with a steady heartbeat, growing just as they should. We stand against any compaction or complications, and we declare that this baby will be full term.
Father, we know that You are the giver of life and that this baby is knitted together in Christina's womb by Your very hand (Psalm 139:13 WEB). We trust in Your goodness and Your love for both Christina and this baby. We pray that You will guide the doctors and midwives, giving them wisdom and skill to care for Christina and her baby.
We also pray for Christina, that You will fill her with peace and joy during this pregnancy. We pray for a smooth delivery and then the blessing of a nurse for this beautiful child, supported by the local church just as You have faithfully provided from creation (Isaiah 49:15 and 66:12 WEB and 1 Thessalonians 5:14 WEB). May this baby come from the womb with its expectation for the breast, rather than the current norm and associated bottles and difficulties that come from that expectation. We pray for simple breastfeeding giving good milk supply and all the benefits to the mom and baby associated. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Christina, be encouraged by these verses:
"For you formed my inward parts. You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well" (Psalm 139:13-14 WEB).
"'Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. Your walls are continually before me'" (Isaiah 49:15-16 WEB).
Finally, christina, if you have not already done this, please make sure you are married to this child's father as that is the God ordained path for children. The 7th commandment, found in Exodus 20:14 is "Do not commit adultery." Likewise we have "Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." in Hebrews 13:4. If you are entering into motherhood without a father for your child, then pray for God's provision for a Godly husband and father your for this child. Likewise pray for forgiveness for both you and your child's father, if applicable. An engaged, loving father to your child is one the very best things a child can ever have. Let's pray for that also in Jesus' Name. Amen.
