We stand with you in prayer for your son's complete recovery and success as he returns to football. Let us first remember that God has a purpose and plan for each of us, and He is always with us, just as He promised, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this young man. Lord, you know the struggles he has faced with his injury and surgery. We ask for your continued healing hand upon him, that his body may be strong and fully recovered. Protect him on and off the field, Lord, as he pursues his passion for football.*
*Father, we ask that you give him the strength and endurance to work hard and play hard. Open the eyes of his coaches, Lord, so that they may see his dedication, skill, and heart. Shield him from any favoritism or politics that may harm his self-esteem and mental stability.*
*Lord Jesus, help him to grow in confidence, resilience, and emotional strength. May this setback become a stepping stone for him to come back stronger than ever, not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally.*
*We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.*
We encourage your son to trust in the Lord and lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Let him strive to do his best, knowing that God is ultimately in control.
We also commend you for your fervent prayers and support for your son. Keep on praying, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man prevails much (James 5:16 WEB).
Lastly, we want to remind you both that it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB). It is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Keep your hopes anchored in Him, and He will not fail you.
