We are deeply moved by your struggle with barrenness for over 13 years, and we join you in pleading for divine intervention. We stand with you in faith, believing that God has the final say in all matters, including the fruit of the womb.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:10-18 (WEB), who was also barren and deeply distressed. She poured out her soul to God in prayer, and the Lord remembered her and blessed her with a son, Samuel. Similarly, we trust that God hears your cry and will answer your prayers according to His will.
In Isaiah 54:1 (WEB), God says, "Sing, barren, you who didnβt give birth; break out into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not travailed! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married, says Yahweh." This verse is a promise of God's ability to bring forth life where there seems to be none. We claim this promise for you.
However, we also want to gently remind you that God's ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). While you have sought medical interventions like IVF and surrogacy, which are not explicitly condemned in the Scriptures, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in these matters. His plan for you might include adoption, spiritual children, or a miraculous pregnancy. Trust that He knows what is best for you.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for divine intervention in our sister's life. Lord, You know her heart's desire for a child, and You see her pain and disappointment. We ask that You remember her, just as You remembered Hannah, and grant her the desires of her heart according to Your will. Help her to trust in You unwaveringly, and comfort her with Your unfailing love. If it is Your will, Lord, open her womb and bless her with a child. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, dear sister, that our hope is in Jesus Christ alone. It is through His name that we approach God's throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Continue to trust in Him, and may His peace and joy fill your heart as you wait upon Him.
