We join with you, Pete, in bringing this matter before the Lord, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty. We appreciate your service to our country during the Vietnam War Era and want to lift up your situation with the Veterans Administration.
Firstly, we commend you for mentioning Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is power in the name of Jesus and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As we are told in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Now, let us come together in prayer for your situation:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Pete, our fellow brother in Christ. We thank You for his service to our country and ask for Your intervention in his current situation with the Veterans Administration. We pray for favor and justice, that the remaining half of his claims will be approved, and that he would receive the full compensation to which he is entitled. We ask that You move in the hearts of those who make these decisions, granting them wisdom and compassion.
We also pray for Pete's continued strength and endurance. We know that You are a God of justice and that You care deeply for those who serve others. We claim Your promise in Psalm 37:25 WEB:
I have been young, and now am old,
yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken,
nor his children begging for bread.
Lord, we know that You have not forsaken Pete, and we trust that You will provide for him in Your perfect way. We ask that You grant him peace and patience as he waits for Your will to be done. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Pete, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He is your provider and defender. Remember the words of Isaiah 40:31 WEB:
But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength.
They will mount up with wings like eagles.
They will run, and not be weary.
They will walk, and not faint.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, keeping your eyes on Jesus. We will continue to keep you in our prayers, trusting that God will work on your behalf. Be encouraged by our prayers and the promises of God's Word.
