Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts seeking Your divine intervention and mercy. We lift up Phyllis and her family to You, trusting in Your power and grace. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." We claim this promise for Phyllis and her family.
Lord, we pray for Alston's quick deliverance from drugs, cigarettes, mental confusion, anger, and destructive behavior. As it is written in John 8:36, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." Set Alston free, Lord. Grant him the grace to forgive his father and others who have hurt him. Heal him physically, mentally, and emotionally, and let Your peace reign in his heart.
We ask for favor in Alston's upcoming court dates on the 17th and 19th. Let justice be tempered with mercy, and may the case be dismissed, and charges dropped. Guide him towards Christian therapy, and place people in his life who will support and uplift him in Your ways.
Father, we also lift up Phyllis's health concerns to You. Heal her from diabetes, high blood pressure, the side effects of brain trauma, and restore sight in her left eye with a new tear duct. Remove her toothache and bring her physical and emotional healing. Your Word in Psalm 103:3 reminds us that You "forgive all [our] iniquity, who heals all [our] diseases." We stand on this truth for Phyllis.
We pray for Alister's deliverance from alcohol and cigarettes. Break these chains, Lord, and bring him into the fullness of Your salvation and deliverance. Let Your Spirit move mightily in their entire family, bringing peace, unity, and joy. Restore the relationship between Phyllis and her daughter-in-law, and reconnect her with her grandchildren.
In all these things, we trust in Your unfailing love and sovereign power. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for the blessings You are pouring out on Phyllis and her family.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
