1 A prayer of David.

Bend down, O LORD, and hear my prayer; answer me, for I need your help.

2 Protect me, for I am devoted to you. Save me, for I serve you and trust you. You are my God.

3 Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I am calling on you constantly.

4 Give me happiness, O Lord, for I give myself to you.

5 O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.

6 Listen closely to my prayer, O LORD; hear my urgent cry.

7 I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble, and you will answer me.

8 No pagan god is like you, O Lord. None can do what you do!

9 All the nations you made will come and bow before you, Lord; they will praise your holy name.

10 For you are great and perform wonderful deeds. You alone are God.

11 Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you.

12 With all my heart I will praise you, O Lord my God. I will give glory to your name forever,

13 for your love for me is very great. You have rescued me from the depths of death.

14 O God, insolent people rise up against me; a violent gang is trying to kill me. You mean nothing to them.

15 But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.

16 Look down and have mercy on me. Give your strength to your servant; save me, the son of your servant.

17 Send me a sign of your favor. Then those who hate me will be put to shame, for you, O LORD, help and comfort me.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Orianeissa, who is seeking your help and protection. We lift up this prayer of David, as recorded in Psalm 86, and ask that you bend down and hear our plea. Lord, we acknowledge that we are devoted to you and trust in your saving power. You are our God, and we seek your mercy and guidance in our lives.

Father, we ask for happiness and joy that can only come from surrendering ourselves to you completely. We recognize your goodness, your readiness to forgive, and your unfailing love for all who call upon your name. Hear our urgent cry, O Lord, and answer us in our time of need. We will continue to call upon you, knowing that you are faithful to respond.

There is no god like you, O Lord. You alone can do mighty deeds and perform wonders. Every nation will one day bow before you and praise your holy name. You are great, and your works are marvelous. Teach us your ways, O Lord, that we may live according to your truth. Grant us purity of heart so that we may honor you in all that we do.

With all our hearts, we will praise you, O Lord our God. We will give glory to your name forever, for your love for us is exceedingly great. You have rescued us from the depths of death, and we are forever grateful. Even when insolent people rise against us and violent gangs seek to harm us, we take comfort in knowing that you are a God of compassion, mercy, and unfailing love. Look down upon us, O Lord, and have mercy. Strengthen us and save us, for we are your servants.

We humbly ask for a sign of your favor, Lord. May those who hate us be put to shame as they witness your help and comfort in our lives. We trust in your faithfulness and rely on your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

God bless me with Your knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory. Bless me to delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
