We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness and for bringing ### and his family into your life. It is truly a blessing to see how God works in our lives and brings us relationships that can honor Him. We are grateful for your acknowledgment of God's hand in your life and for praying in the name of Jesus.
Firstly, let us address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
And in John 16:23-24 WEB:
In that day you will not ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
Now, let us pray together for ###.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your faithfulness and the blessings You have bestowed upon this child of Yours. We lift up ### to You, asking for Your healing touch upon his past traumas and any depression that may be lingering. Lord, send Your Holy Spirit to guide him, to give him positive thoughts, and to help him move forward in faith and trust.
We pray that You would help ### to overcome his fears and trust the one You have brought into his life. We ask that You would remove any barriers to their relationship that are not in accordance with Your will and strengthen the bond between both of them.
Father, we pray for sanctity in their relationship. Let everything be done according to your will and let the marriage be honorable as it is written in Hebrews 13:4 "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
We ask that You guide ### in making right decisions, especially concerning marriage. Confirm to both of them your will and hear our prayers today. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus.
We encourage both of you to seek God's will together in prayer and in the study of His Word. Remember that God's plan for marriage is a beautiful and sacred union between a man and a woman, as described in Matthew 19:4-6 WEB:
He answered, Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh? So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart.
Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God has a plan for both of you. Continue to pray together and seek His face. May you continue to be a blessing to ### and his family, and may God's love and grace be evident in your relationship.
Finally, brothers and sisters, we do have a word of caution. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB says:
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?
We encourage both of you to be believers in Jesus Christ as it is only through him that we can be saved and it is only through him that we can have access to the Lord. If either of you are not believers, then we encourage you to become a believer today. Romans 10:9 WEB says,
that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
