unrepentant sinners

Mixed signals about something. We read in the Bible about how unrepentant sinners will face the judgement of God. However, there's a disconnect between what I read and what I see. What I see is that days, weeks, months, and years later those (continually) doing wrong are still flitting around...

Just wondering...in the Old Testament, sinners would get struck down. Sodom and Gommorah, the flood, etc. Even Lot's wife, when she disobeyed God, was turned into a pillar of salt. Nowadays, instead of quick judgments like that, we have people doing things, and saying things that are really so...

I can't help but question but...we read in the Bible about judgement on unrepentant sinners eventually paying for their deeds. However, what I see appears to contradict what I read. I see people doing things that really hurt others who trusted them too...adultery, defrauding. And these aren't...
