unpredictable nature

See this is what I mean. I plan something for myself, and because of the unpredictable nature of my job, something "changes" that thwarts my plan. Never fails .Frustrating and depressing. That if I plan something I'm able to follow it through, with no "surprises" to trip me up.Amen.
