smug arrogant pompous self righteous ways

I hope the Democrats get their clocks cleaned on election day. Tired of their smug, arrogant, pompous self-righteous ways. I can't stand those people, and they need to be taken down a notch or two. A Christian neighbor says they remind her of the Pharisees. I agree!
