petty threat

Please pray for my son He's being charged with petty threat. Which carries jail time and fines. He found the wallet and kept it . It had$50. The person alleged it had $200 and he stole the wallet .The judge wants him to come back for pretrial.he doesn't want to go. He feels someone is setting him up
