main drain

My family recently purchased a new house. A couple of months in we learned the main drain is offset and could collapse. It is 20ft deep and the repair has been estimated to cost $60,000. I am deeply discouraged. Prayers for wisdom and strength, and for a resolution that my family can afford. Thanks!
