higher hopes

Someone I know who needs guidance, easily enticed into sin, probably low self esteem, somewhat niave, weak willpower when resisting sin, .Needs help to walk straight.And very sad to me because I've been so disapointed by having higher hopes.So it gets depressing for me to watch and hear about it...
