This introductory lesson homes in on the heart of God in the 50 days between Christ's resurrection and the Spirit poured out on Pentecost. The Old Testament Feast of First Fruits pictures Jesus' resurrection and says in effect: see Jesus. The message of the 10 days from Jesus ascending and Pentecost is this: wait for the Holy Spirit.
