God is still looking for people like Abraham today who have a responsive heart. The blessing of Abraham--the baptism in the Holy Spirit--can make us a blessing to every family that we meet. Abraham's mistakes serve a sober warning to us that missing God's will that it may go well with us have serious and long lasting consequences long after God has forgiven us of the sin.
